National Merit Hispanic Semifinalist. Recipient of several leadership and merit scholarships, maintained a 3.34 GPA while working 20-30 hours per week.

Crafted the message and oversaw the implementation of a coordinated marketing and communications program to include media, speech preparation, personal appearances, event development, newsletters, website and other special features and publications to communicate the activities of the chamber to all stakeholders. Managed the Events department and staff for the Fayetteville Young Professional Program.

Acting Chief. Managed all advocacy and outreach efforts to Congress, federal, state and local governments, news media, minority constituents, and the community at large. Drafted all executive communications for the director of the agency.
